My dad also did a fantastic Mercury Meteor chop and restoration, have to try and dig up pictures someday of that!

(Oh, and my blog switched to a new host a few months back; hope you'll follow the link to the new one!)

http://theautomotiveattic.weebly.com/Paulhttp://theautomotiveattic.weebly.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3933815733639627609.post-76760451291517025112014-10-31T16:21:54.857+01:002014-10-31T16:21:54.857+01:00That's definitely a 1962! I can't claim that I'm that knowledgeable of the classic Thunderbird, but I can confidently say that it is a 1962, if my memory of the year's design holds true. It's all in the side decals, I guess. To be sure, I even googled pictures of the years 1961 to 63 Thunderbirds and their differences are quite distinct. Anyway, your father is truly amazing for having tackled such projects and producing such beauty in his restorations. Thank you for sharing those vintage photos!

Ross Adkins @ BullseyeRoss Adkinshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17532846319943832776noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3933815733639627609.post-67808448977457035762014-08-21T06:29:58.690+02:002014-08-21T06:29:58.690+02:00I have been told that it's a 1962, according t...I have been told that it's a 1962, according to the rear quarter panel trim and shape of the rear wheel wells! Cars back then had unique details every year, which makes it easy for a car fan with some knowledge to identify the year.Paulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13342387989854458478noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3933815733639627609.post-66362477870519943432014-08-21T05:00:01.383+02:002014-08-21T05:00:01.383+02:00I know that the pictures aren't of great quali...I know that the pictures aren't of great quality, but if anyone can help me determine the exact age of this car ('61?
